HOW TO FREEZE M&M COOKIES

Ingredients
400 g all-purpose flour
160 g unsalted butter, room temperature
150 g granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 vanilla sugar powder
1 tbsp baking powder
M&M´s
100 g chocolate (optional)
sprinkles (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 200°c. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside.
- MAKE THE DOUGH
- In a large bowl, use an electric or stand mixer to cream together the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar powder, and baking powder until well combined. Do not overmix.
- ROLL AND CUT THE COOKIES
- Dust a surface with a little flour. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to just thicker than 1cm – around ½”. You will want to use a little flour on the rolling pin too.
- Use the round cookie cutter to cut out the shape and pop the cookies on a paper-lined baking tray.
- Press the M&M´s into the round cut shapes.
- BAKE THE COOKIES
- Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- DECORATE COOKIES
- Melt 100 g chocolate.
- Top the baked cookies with melted chocolate and add sprinkles. Enjoy!
